The Museum of the City of Villach

Discover the Villach City Museum, which is housed in an old town house, the Palais Crusiz, in the heart of the city center. Founded in 1873, the museum invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating history, art and culture of the city and region of Villach from the beginning of May to the beginning of November. Every year, an exciting new theme awaits you, which comes to life in a unique special exhibition.

Two other excursion destinations in the heart of the old town are the impressive Villach parish tower, which at 94 meters is the highest church tower in Carinthia. And the Relief of Carinthia - Europe's largest landscape sculpture.
