Villach Parish Church Tower

From the highest church tower in Carinthia - the parish tower measures 94 meters - you can enjoy a fabulous view over the charming town. The building was already so famous in the middle-ages that in 1486 an Italian chronicler wrote about the tower that it was more magnificent than any of the towers in Venice at the time.

Over the centuries, Villach's parish tower has been rebuilt several times and has had its current appearance since 1847. There is a viewing platform at the top from which visitors can gaze into the distance . Exact opening times and information on prices can be found on the Villach city website.
