Villach and it's surroundings
With its narrow alleyways, cobbled squares and colourful houses full of cafés and shops, Carinthia's second largest city is reminiscent of old Mediterranean towns. The Villach experience area invites you to shop, enjoy and stroll and has plenty of events to offer in every season: The picturesque Advent in winter, the infamous Villacher Kirchtag in summer and numerous markets and festivals in between, such as the Villalher Fasching, which always make a visit to the city lively and interesting.
This is what makes Villach so unique:
- ‘Dolce vita': Mediterranean flair at the intersection of three cultures
- Relax and explore: A city centre to linger & enjoy - with the Fountain show DRAUpuls as a highlight in summer
- Variety: Markets, festivals and many events make Villach a worthwhile destination time and time again
