Velovista

Velovista combines cycling, culinary delights and culture to create a special experience from 21st to 25th May 2025. The Carinthian lakes loop leads along lake Wörthersee, lake Klopeiner See and lake Ossiacher See, lined with culinary and musical highlights. Each stage is individually staged and offers participants a unique cycling experience.

Velovista, the unique cycling and enjoyment event in Carinthia, kicks off on 21st May 2025. The participants will set off in an atmospheric setting and set off on the first stage along the Drau Cycle Path towards Rosental. The kick-off promises unforgettable experiences, exciting encounters and the perfect start to five days full of cycling enjoyment, nature and regional diversity.

After riding along the northern shore of lake Wörthersee with a stopover in Velden, the participants reach the stage finish in Villach at Nikolaiplatz, right in the heart of the city. Villach is known for its charming town center with numerous cozy pubs and restaurants that invite you to linger - here you can feel the southern joie de vivre and the closeness to Italy.

In the evening, all guests with a Velovista package can enjoy free entry to the KärntenTherme spa in Warmbad Villach, where they can relax after the stage. An evening meal is also included in the package.

On the last day, the route also leads back to Villach, where an atmospheric welcome with culinary and musical highlights awaits the participants at Nikolaiplatz. At the end of Velovista 2025, there will once again be a big celebration.

Villach and its surroundings offer a wide range of activities not only for sports enthusiasts, but also for all kinds of relaxation. Surrounded by famous lakes such as lake Ossiacher See and lake Faaker See, the region invites you to stay a few days longer and enjoy the wide range of leisure activities on offer.
