The castle, which can be seen from far and wide, is not only the location of a restaurant and bistro but also the famous ‘Adler Arena’. The ‘Affenberg’ and the ‘Burgherrenrunde’ adventure hiking trail are also nearby.

Villach

The seat of the city's cultural department is also a location for exhibitions and readings. The castle park is home to sculptures, sculptures and objects by several artists.

Finkenstein

The castle ruins with their famous castle arena are not only an incomparable event location but also offer an impressive view over the nearby Lake Faaker See.

Wernberg

The three-storey castle and current monastery with guest house, restaurant and monastery garden is enthroned on a rock above the Drauschleife and can be visited. The monastery shop sells home-grown products.

Arnoldstein

The previous monastery was destroyed in a fire and has only been revitalised since 1992. It is often booked for private parties and weddings and is also open to visitors.

Castle Glanegg

Glanegg

The Castle Glanegg between the ducal town of St. Veit and Feldkirchen was first mentioned in a document in 1121 and has an eventful history. The wine grown there can be savoured at the Burgheurigen wine tavern at the foot of the castle.

Pulst

The ruins of Liebenfels Castle with its viewing tower and museum are among the most impressive medieval fortifications in Carinthia. Its two striking keeps rise unmistakably out of the hilly landscape.

Castle Hochosterwitz

Launsdorf

Visible from far and wide, this unique fortification on a 150 metre high rock houses an armoury, weapons collection and a restaurant. A driveway leads to the castle, secured by 14 gates.
