FreizeitBASE Villach
From Villach's old town straight into adventure! Discover Villach and the Drau from a special perspective. The FreizeitBASE Villach was created directly on the Drau terraces - in the heart of Villach and just a two-minute walk from the main square. It is the perfect base for tours on and beside the Drau. The FreizeitBASE Villach is open from June to September from 10:00 to 18:00, weather permitting.
Whenever the weather and the flow speed of the Drau allow, you can rent a kayak, canoe or SUP board from the FreizeitBASE and return it on the same point or at another exit point of the Drau Paddling Trail (for example the Silbersee).
The Drau Paddle Trail team is available daily from 11:00 - 18:00 at the ‘Lagana am Fluss’ bistro and looks forward to your visit. In addition to the hire of sports equipment, you will also receive useful information about the paddling town of Villach and the Drau Paddling Trail.
