The Gerlitzen Alpe cable cars are usually open until the beginning of October or during the fall vacations.

Sunrise for late risers
Want to sleep in and still experience a magical sunrise on the mountain? This can be combined very well in the fall - late sunrises and hideaways near the summit make it possible from mid-September to October 27 (changeover to winter time).
Sunrise time: around 6.40 am in mid-September and around 7.30 am at the end of October (before the time changeover)
