Volume Bouldern Villach

Opened in 2021, the "Volume" offers a more than 1,000 m², top-modern indoor bouldering area with routes of all levels of difficulty. Both beginners and advanced climbers will find the ideal training conditions here - and not just in rainy weather.

Younger climbing enthusiasts can also let off steam in the "Volume", as there is a large separate children's and course area especially for younger guests. In addition, advanced climbers can improve their strength and balance in a separate training area with various campus boards and other equipment to help them perform better on the wall. For short breaks during bouldering or a cozy get-together afterwards, there is also a chill-out area in the "Volume", where refreshing drinks and small snacks are served.

Bouldering is not only a great rainy weather alternative to climbing outdoors, but also an absolute trend sport that is enjoying growing popularity outside the climbing community. Unlike indoor sport climbing or rock climbing in the nature, you don't need your own climbing and safety equipment for bouldering.

Sportswear and climbing shoes (for rental) are all you need to start bouldering! The walls on which bouldering takes place are never more than 5 meters high and the floor is covered with soft mats to ensure the necessary safety when jumping off the wall. Therefore, no safety equipment or extensive previous knowledge is required.
