Dreiländereck
Bergbahnen Dreiländereck GmbH & Co KG filed for insolvency in March 2024, which led to the closure of lift operations. This means that the lifts will not be operating until further notice. Despite this restriction, the Dreiländereck still offers numerous activities for visitors.
Experience the border triangle in the south of Austria, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet - the meeting point of three countries, languages and cultures. Enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the Julian Alps and the Gailtal valley and discover the many hiking opportunities. In summer, the ‘GRENZgenial - GRENZgänger’ theme trail invites you to hike along exciting paths through the Alpine landscape, while in winter you can experience the tranquillity of the snow-covered landscape.

Start of the summer - beginning of July 2025
As extensive preparatory work is due in 2025, Bergbahnen Dreiländereck will start its summer operations at the beginning of July. Until October, the family adventure mountain invites you to enjoy the mountains at the intersection of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. New family attractions are being prepared for summer 2025.

Start of the ski season - before Christmas 2025
Ski operations at the top of the mountain with slopes ranging from easy to challenging in a sunny panoramic location and on the attractive, long north-facing run will start before Christmas 2025 and run until March 2026. 7 lifts and 15 km of slopes promise a relaxed skiing idyll.
Details & more information about the Dreiländereck will be available from spring 2025 on the new Dreiländereck website as well as on the Dreiländereck social media channels.
