Easter Market in Villach
The first signs of the warm season become visible, nature awakens from its winter slumber - it's "easter" in Villach. Every year from the Thursday before Palm Sunday (Palmsonntag) to Holy Saturday (Karsamstag), the traditional Easter market takes place. Lingering in the city center becomes a springtime experience. A colourful mix of all kinds of goods and delicacies - in addition to traditional Easter goods such as decorative Easter candles, there are also farm products such as Easter ham, Reindling & Krainer.

The Easter market in Villach takes place daily from 26th March to 4th April, 2026 from 10 am to 7pm.
Exception: Saturday, 4th April 2026 until 2 pm.

Children's program at the Easter market
The children's train will once again be doing its rounds on the Town hall square (Rathausplatz) - surrounded by a beautiful spring landscape that is already setting the mood for the warmer season. A carousel will also make children's eyes light up.
